Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Humanitarian Response Project

This project addresses gender-based violence in emergency and humanitarian contexts. RSDA works to raise awareness on GBV prevention, provide community sensitization, strengthen referral mechanisms, and build the capacity of community members, volunteers, and local institutions to identify, prevent, and respond to GBV cases. Special emphasis is given to protecting women, girls, and other vulnerable groups during disasters and crises.

Rural Society Development Association (RSDA) is a non-profit, non-political development organization established in 1984 in Kurigram, Bangladesh. We work with poor and disaster-affected communities—especially women and children—to reduce poverty, build resilience, and promote gender equality. Through community-led development and humanitarian support, RSDA helps people create sustainable and dignified livelihoods.
