Ayesha Begum, a char-dwelling woman from Kurigram, once struggled to support her family due to recurring floods and lack of income opportunities. Through training, livelihood support, and women’s group involvement provided by Rural Society Development Association (RSDA), she started a small income-generating activity and learned disaster preparedness skills. Today, Ayesha earns a stable income, sends her children to school, and actively participates in community decision-making, becoming a respected voice for women in her village.
